Living and Eating

Tonight, I'm making a roast chicken from Living and Eating. My new outlook is minimalist, paring down to bare essentials, inspired by John Pawson but maybe not as extreme. I do like some things in view....glass fruit, a copy of The Lover in a perspex box, photographs of friends and family....in any case, I appreciate his work and right now crave few distractions.

I read recently about karmayogis being those who find spirituality through work and find that all my procrastination will get me nowhere. No kidding!

Am working on a couple of stories and need to finish them, figuring out a way to have a daily writing practice, even if I start with an hour a day. Also, cooking for my family of five, doing it with attitude regardless of how much I don't want to sometimes and will be posting a list of my favorite cookbooks which, of course, includes Living and Eating.

I hope to never settle. I hope to always have the energy to keep going. I love my dear friend Audrey.
